Lexi Moore is 17 years old, and in the 11th Grade at Lower Moreland High School. Lexi is a self-taught artist, and is very accomplished for her age. Lexi is a straight “A” honors student, who attended Harvard University’s 2021 Summer Pre-College Program for high school students. Lexi also recently completed a judicial internship with a New York State Supreme Court Judge, and had one of her light-hearted articles published by Girls’ Life Magazine, a national publication.
Lexi was recently admitted into, and will be attending, Harvard University’s 2022 Summer Pre-College Program for high school students, and Barnard College’s Young Women’s Leadership Institute 2022 Summer Pre-College Program. Lexi looks forward to taking a journalism class at Harvard, and art history class at Barnard College, this summer.
Lexi is a social justice artist, who primarily creates artwork using acrylic paints and charcoal pencils. She mainly paints portraits, but occasionally dabbles in abstract art. Lexi’s artwork focuses on themes, such as mental health issues and systemic racism.
In 2021, Lexi’s artwork was showcased in Lower Moreland’s Virtual District Arts Festival.
